At Urban Parent to Parent, we don’t just provide services; we connect families to existing efforts within their communities. Our approach centers on strengthening the kinship networks that are already in place, recognizing that the answers often lie within the communities themselves.

We help families navigate complex systems—whether it’s the education system, healthcare, or housing—without handing them over to systems they struggle to navigate. We also work to ensure that parents’ voices are centered in decision-making processes that affect their children’s education. Our efforts focus on advocating for shared decision-making and ensuring that parents are seen as vital stakeholders in the education system.
