Your Child Deserves More Than Promises.
They Deserve Services.

Urban Parent to Parent believes that access to education is a legal right, not a favor. Through our Ready to Serve campaign and Urban Grapevine legal network, we’re helping families in Rochester and beyond take action when schools fail our children.

The Law Is Supposed to Protect Your Child.

Right now, the Supreme Court is deciding whether families must prove that schools intended to discriminate—or whether the harm alone is enough. If they rule against families, it will become harder to sue for injustice. But we’re already preparing.

Our goal: Turn harm into action. Turn stories into lawsuits.

What We’re Doing

If your child was denied an IEP, suspended unfairly, or pushed out of learning opportunities, we want to hear from you.

“When I go to the grocery store, I don’t expect them to still be milking the cow.”

That’s how we feel about schools. When your child walks in, the services should already be ready.

Use our
Milk Scorecard to evaluate your school’s readiness—and report what you find.
